Falcon Support Services provides supported accommodation and community projects to those that are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or vulnerable in the community. Our services include a drop in centre, a harm reduction team and an emotional & wellbeing team.

About this role

We at FSS believe in encouraging the use of green spaces/outdoors to promote good wellbeing & physical health.

At our large allotment plot (just a short walk away from The Falcon Centre) we are looking for volunteers to help plant, water, de weed and generally maintain the plot.

We are currently growing fruit, vegetables & herbs as well as having an area for plants. We have a summer house for people to have a break, make a hot drink etc and our own tool shed.

Service users of FSS and our emotional and wellbeing team use the allotment to help with the above or as a space to have some quiet time.

Ideally, we would like someone to come at least once a week to volunteer at the allotments and able to carry out the physical tasks required.
