We are in great need of some new full, or part time adult volunteer leaders for our Scout Troop (aged 11-14) based in Knighton.
At the 63rd, we provide everyday adventure to young people living across Knighton and Stoneygate in Leicester, pushing them to experience things outside the school curriculum, outside their everyday lives, and outside their comfort zone.
Whether you’re a master of marshmallow toasting, a whizz in the kitchen or with all things technical, or simply someone who shows up with a smile, you’ve got what it takes to join our Scouts’ Leadership Team!
Here are some of the amazing highlights from our last year;
Used navigation skills to take part in hikes – some with challenges along the way and some with chips!
Held a Parliament themed debating session indoors and created an environment project outdoors.
Wrote comedy songs to perform for our younger sections at the Christmas Party.
Scouting experience is not necessary. Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare. Training is available along with a wealth of activity ideas.
We promise you’ll get more out than you put in!
Our meetings are weekly, from 19:30 to 21:00.
We meet at a local school within the Knighton / Stoneygate area. (LE2)
